Episode 16, "Boom Boom Pow" (Printable Version)

Scene 1--The Sterling Building

The rain flowed down the windows of the Sterling Building from heavy down pours that came from outer bands of the storm that slowly approached San Diego.

Eva stood at Paige's office door in shock from walking in on Paige and Maurice making love, she closed the door so no one would have to witness the ass whooping she was getting ready to distribute to her sister in law.

Eva slowly approached Paige taking off her ear rings "Paige, you are a slut and I can't believe you!" she shouted as she went for Paige's neck. "HOW DARE YOU!!"

"GET AWAY FROM ME!!" Paige screamed climbing on the desk scared for her life.

Maurice jumped between the two, he always liked seeing women fight each other but under these circumstances he couldn't allow it. "Eva you need to calm down!" he instructed.

Eva quickly back handed Maurice, "You fucking lair! Maurice...Paige??? I thought Anthony meant a lot to both of you!"

Paige stood up, "He does..."

Eva slapped Paige cutting her sentence, "Apparently he doesn't, if your screwing his best friend." Eva took out her cell phone and began dialing her brother's number

Paige held her face hysterical realizing her perfect little world was crashing down, "What are you doing?" she sobbed.

"Calling my brother! Somebody needs to tell him about his wife and his so called best friend!"

Paige gasped and approached Eva, "Hang up that phone!"

Eva huffed at Paige and continued dialing.

Paige smacked the phone of out Eva's hand, "I TOLD YOU TO HANG UP THAT PHONE!!!"

Eva shot a cold look at Paige before she knew anything she tackled Paige to the ground and the two were throwing punches and pulling at each other's hair, shouting and screaming.

"Stop it, you two!" Maurice scrambled to break the two apart but he was going to need back up.

Scene 2--St Marks Memorial Hospital

Recovering from a shooting was nothing like Nathan imagine...then again he never imagine recovering from a shooting. Nathan winced in pain as he sat up in his bed, to him life seemed to give him something and then take something else away. In the hospital, he got three meals a day and a roof over his head but he wasn't able to enjoy his freedom and that was something that he longed for.

"Feeling alright?" Alex asked walking in reading Nathan's medical chart.

Nathan looked up at his uncle and frowned, the only then about this situation is that he going to move in with his favorite uncle. "When can I leave?"

Alex laid the medical chart on a table then sat down at the foot of Nathan's bed, "In a couple of day."

"A couple of more days in this hell hole!" Nathan complained. "When is this going to end??"

Marie walked in with a bright smile, a brown teddy bear and some flowers, "Remember me?."

Nathan grinned at his friend that he made behind the bistro, "How could I forget the girl who tried to attack me behind the bistro...how did you find me?" he didn't think he would see her again.

"I'm married to her aunt." Alex said with a laugh, "Marie told us about the guy who scared her behind the bistro and we all put everything together."

Nathan shook his head in awe, his uncle always knew how to put a smile on his face, "Hey Alex can you give us a minute?"

Alex nodded, "Yeah I have some other patients I need to check up on...I'll be in to check on you in a bit." Alex grabbed Nathan's medical chart then winked at Marie before walking out.

"Am I dreaming or are you really here to see me?" Nathan asked Marie still surprise to see her.

Scene 3--The Morrowian Bistro

Thunder bounced off the buildings of downtown San Diego, Leona rushed into an empty bistro with an umbrella that failed to keep her dry, the strong wind turned her umbrella inside out and aimed the rain right at her by blowing it horizontal. She stopped at the bar and attempted to catch her breath. "My god that storm is turning out to be terrible." she complained as the lights flickered a bit.

"Where is everybody?"

"I didn't want the employees out in the storm so I closed up early." Paul came out of the back with a towel and wrapped it around his wife before starting the electric fire place. "You need to get out of those wet clothes."

"I am...as soon as we get home." Leona nodded, "have you talked to Anthony today?"

Paul remained quiet, he didn't want to tell his wife that he told Anthony about Paige's affair.

Leona narrowed her eyes at Paul she hated being ignored especially when she want to know something about a serious matter, "Paul?"

"Huh...yeah...yeah...I talked to him."

"So is he still upset with me?" Leona vigorously wiped herself down with the towel, growing very impatient, "I still can't believe his not talking to me."

"Honey, he knows." Paul whispered placing a chair in front of Leona then sitting down.

Leona frowned, she never wanted her son to feel that type of pain. "How is he?"

"Not good babe...I don't know what he is going to do now?"

Scene 4--The Sterling Mansion

Marsha jumped from the loud rumbles of thunder as she made her way down the hall, she didn't fear too many things but storms made the list. The lights flickered as she turned the corner and walked down into the wine cellar with a plate of food covered with green saran wrap. It had been a few days since she feed the real maid. Marsha kidnapped Carmella to get her out of the house so she could torment Lisa and reunite with her daughter Jackie.

"Wake up wake up sleepy head!" Marsha whisper poking Carmella with a butcher knife. "How are you feeling?"

"Dead!" Carmella replied, she was still tied to the chair and began to form dark circles under her eyes from lack of sleep and crying.

"Watch how you use your words...they could come true." Marsha smirked as she bent down and placed the plate in Carmella's lap.

"How am I suppose to eat this?" Carmella growled.

"Just wait a minute, Grumpy ass!" Marsha took the butcher knife and cut Carmella's hands open free, "You've really been behaving yourself you know that?"

Carmella quickly began to eat her food, "So why won't you let me go."

"When I've accomplished my goal...you'll be free...until then shut the hell up and eat."

Marsha grabbed a bottle of Demetrius' favorite wine then turned to Carmella and winked, "Daddy Dearest is going to love this...when he gets home."

Carmella watched confused as Marsha walked up the stairs, didn't she know she left Carmella's arms free. Marsha stopped when she got to the top of the stair, "The door locks from the outside...so I know you won't be getting out...t-t-y-l sweetie."

"I have to get back to work."

Scene 5--The Sterling Building

"Travis, Let me go!" Eva screamed struggling to get out of Travis' grip and have another go at Paige.

"Travis that woman is crazy!" Paige exclaimed hiding behind Randy and Maurice. "I need to get out of here!"

"Come on I'll get you out of here." Maurice volunteered picking up Paige's purse.

"Whoa! Whoa! No one is going anywhere...now what the hell is going on?" Travis asked growing very impatient still struggling to contain an angry Eva.

"Your so called friend broke the code!" Eva shouted pointing at Maurice, "He's fucking Paige!"

"What?" Travis let go of Eva and sat down on Paige's desk trying to process what he just heard, "Is that true?"

"Go on...tell them Maurice...tell them how much you looove Paige!"

Maurice glared at Eva, the last thing he wanted was for the rest of his friends to find out about his tryst with Paige. He closed his eyes and nodded his head confirming everything Eva said.

"Come on Maurice, we're a team! What were you thinking?" Randy asked looking at both Paige and Maurice with disgust.

Paige wiped the tears from her eyes, and ran out of the room.

"Oh no you're not going anywhere!" Eva exclaimed attempting to pull Paige back into the office. Travis grabbed Eva's arm and pulled her back then closed the door and locked it.

"Do you know what kind of mess you caused?" Travis asked staring at Maurice, "Anthony is going to flip when he finds out."

"None of you in this room can judge me...Randy you left Candace Spellman at the alter for Jessica and did anyone say anything about that...no! And you...Travis you forgot all about Eva in college and started seeing that whacko Marsha! And let's not talk about all the celebrities that got a piece of your ass Eva!"

"You shut up!" Eva screamed slapping Maurice, "I hope you rot in hell!" she exclaimed before storming out of the office.

"I'm out here!" Maurice whispered leaving the room.

Randy sighed and looked at his brother, "Anthony, can't find out bout this!"

"Ya think?"

Scene 6--St Marks Memorial Hospital

Marie pulled a chair up to Nathan's bed and down beside him. "Your uncle said you're going to be released soon."

Nathan nodded, "Hopefully...and thanks for the bear!" he said playing with it.

Marie giggled softly, then stared at Nathan she couldn't believe how close Nathan was to her and relieved her new friend was ok, "Well I'm glad that you're okay...after I heard about the shooting I was really worried."

The sudden and extremely loud caused Marie to nearly jump out of her skin, "Whoa...that storm is getting terrible."

"Not scared are you?" Nathan teased handing her the bear, "Here he'll make you feel better."

Marie rolled her eyes playfully and smacked the bear away, as Gloria walked in, "So I see you've met my daughter."

Nathan looked up at Gloria and chuckled, "Well we met before...but I didn't know she was your daughter."

"I'm glad you've two finally got to see each other." Gloria looked down at her daughter, "Marie we need to get going your father is going to met up at the main house."

"Alright I just need a minute." Marie requested standing up.

"I'll be outside." Gloria waved at Nathan then walked out of the room slowly closing the door.

Nathan smiled, "Guess I'll see you later...new friend!"

Marie laughed and hugged Nathan, "Yep!"

Nathan reached up and kissed Marie's check, she stepped back and shook her head, "Nathan I have a boyfriend!"

"Nathan frowned in disappointment, "Right."

Scene 7--The Sterling Building

The lights flickering on and off put second thoughts about going out in the storm into Felicia's head. She sat at the table waiting for her husband William to pick up the phone, she wanted to tell him that she and Travis was going to take Salle Fields to the airport and she would be home in a few hours. She huffed getting his voicemail, "Hi honey I'm going to take Salle to the airport, so I'll be late getting home...I love you honey." she uttered reluctantly.

Felicia hung up her cell phone feeling guilty about those last three words she said, she loved him despite having an affair with Demetrius. A tear came down her face remembering how badly she had been treating him lately, she abandoned him and their family for Demetrius.

Melanie walked into the break room and softly closed the door, "Felicia."

Felicia looked up and quickly wiped her tears away, "Hi Melanie, umm Demetrius is in his office."

Melanie sat down across from her and smiled sweetly, "Oh I know...but I'm here to see you." Melanie took Demetrius' blackberry out of here pocket and laying it on the table.

Felicia noticed Demetrius' cell phone and feared Melanie may have seen the intimate text messages she and Demetrius sent each other "Me?? What can I do for you?"

Melanie stared at Felicia fiddling her fingers as if she was interrogating a criminal about a crime, "How close do you work with my husband?"

Nervous, Felicia got up and walked over to the soda machine and place some change in to get a soda she couldn't look bare to look Melanie in the face at this point. "I would say pretty close and now that Gloria has quit probably a lot closer."

"Gloria quit?" Melanie quickly rose to her feet shocked. "I don't believe this..."

"Go ask Demetrius...it's true!"

"I think.... I will!" Melanie uttered confused with the whole situation. She grabbed Demetrius' phone, forgetting why she came to talk to Felicia. Melanie walked out of the break room and headed for Demetrius office.

"Oh my god!" Felicia exhaled relieved Melanie didn't say anything to her about the affair, she wondered did Melanie even know. The thought scared her if the truth ever got out the Sterlings would probably launch an all out assault on her.

Scene 8--Anthony and Paige's House

Paige quickly walked into house dripping wet from the torrential rain, it didn't matter to her if she got wet. She hoped the rain would wash away the pain she was feeling at the moment. She laid down on the sofa and closed her eyes as tears quickly streamed down her eyes.

Anthony sighed, he knew when Paige was lying and he also knew something wasn't right. He sighed walking over to the refrigerator, "Is there something your not telling me?"

Paige raised an her right eyebrow confused, "What do mean?"

Anthony looked at Paige hurt by her actions, "I just don't understand why you don't want to spend time with me anymore. You're not cheating on me are you?"

Paige sat up and screamed, "ANTHONY I'M SORRY!!! I'M SO SORRY!!" She looked around at the empty room and continued to sob feeling stupid...How could she get herself in such a situation. She told herself that she would stop a very long time ago but she didn't. She stared blankly at a picture of herself and Anthony on their wedding day and wondered what would become of them now.

The flash of lightening reveal a silhouette of a man standing at the door, Paige's heart dropped scared it was Anthony and he knew everything she covered her mouth and slowly walked to the door. She opened the door to see Maurice standing soak and wet.

"Paige, We can't end like this."
