Scene 1- San Diego International Airport

Sterling Clothing's Top Public Relations Rep, Joshlynne waited by the baggage area with a sign that had Regina's name on, she figured she'd wait there since Regina had to come through that area to pick up her luggage. Joshlynne was known for being a double crosser and a schemer. She's also had her eyes set on her boss Demetrius Sterling and had devised a plan to break up his marriage to his wife, Melanie.

Joshlynne checked her phone to see what time it was, she had to get back to Sterling Clothing, tonight was the tenth annual Shooting Star Fashion Show and there was a lot of work that still needed to be done.

Regina came around the corner and began picking up her luggage, she noticed Joshlynne and hurried over to her, "Hi I'm Regina Belle, you must be Joshlynne. Gloria said that you would be here. It's a pleasure to meet you." she said warmly, extending her hand out to shake Joshlynne.

Joshlynne smiled, "Yes, that's correct, and the pleasure is all mine. Let me be the first to Welcome you to Sterling Clothing." she stated cheerfully.

Joshlynne sensed that something was wrong with Regina, she raised an eyebrow as she asked, "Is everything alright? You're not nervous about coming to San Diego are you?"

Regina nodded, "a bit, it's just that I'm not sure if I made the right decision. I had a lot going on back home and I just dropped everything and came here."

Joshlynne gave her an assuring smile, "I promise you, this is the best move you could've possibly made. Working with Sterling Clothing will take you to the top!"

Deciding put some of her trust in Joshlynne's hands, Regina sighed and looked at Joshlynne who grabbed her bags and motioned for her to come along. They headed towards the nearest exit. 

Scene 2- San Diego Convention Center

KIOU investigating reporter Eva Morrow walked into the San Diego Convention Center, the place where the fashion show was set to take place. Eva is one of the top reporters in California, if there was a story that needed to be told Eva was the person for the job. Covering the fashion show was one of favorite events of year.

"The 10th Annual Shooting Star Fashion Show takes place here tonight. Many people are expected in attendance tonight like actresses, Alex Reynolds and her husband , Jordan Rydell and fashion icon Wendy Morgan, who has recently partnered with Jonathan Spellman to launched "Veritas" a new Clothing line. Veritas Inc is in competition with tonight's headliner Sterling Clothing."

"Rumor has it that things have been pretty heated between the two CEO's as the fashion show grows near. There also will  performances artists such John Legend, the Veronicas, the Pussycat Dolls and the Jonas Brothers." Eva reported back to her viewers watching from home.

Sterling Clothing President of Sales, Travis Sterling walked down the stairs and noticed Eva, Travis was set to do an interview with her since he coordinated the event tonight. Travis was Demetrius and Melanie's oldest son. Travis is known as San Diego's playboy. He's also married to Lisa Spellman, one of the Jonathan's Spellman triplets and has one daughter.

"This year Sterling Clothing, is the headliner for this evening's event." Eva stated before Travis came up, "Travis Sterling has been overseeing everything, for tonight's event. Tell me something Travis, what can we expect to see from Sterling Clothing tonight?"

Travis smiled," Well tonight is going to be full of surprises, we have two competitors ourselves and Veritas Inc. debuting new lines tonight, and I know for us this isn't just about the clothes it's the whole presentation that sells and tonight we plan on having a show that you won't forget." he answered with a positive smile.

Travis smile lit up the television screen in Jonathan's office, out of frustration Jonathan snatched the plug out of the socket. Jonathan hated the Sterlings with a passion, Jonathan has always came second place to Demetrius and his children for years. He also blamed Demetrius for his older brother Jeffery Spellman departure from Veritas after it opened.

"Damn those Sterlings, I've worked to hard to be second place to scrums like those people. Someway, somehow, Veritas will be on top."

Scene 3- The Sterling Building

The halls in the Sterling building were fill with frantic employees trying to take care of last minute task. Everyone knew that Gloria and her brother Travis like when everything to flowed during a function. Gloria made her way through a group of interns who stood around talking. She stopped in her tracks realizing the interns weren't working, she turned and faced them.

"Are you all waiting on something?" she quickly asked the interns in a stern tone.

"Umm, No." One of the interns answered, none of them seemed to take Gloria serious.

Gloria placed her hands on her hips, she hated to see slackers it was one of her pet peeves.

"Well then I suggest you all find something to do before you all are dressing manikins at Salvation Army and last time I checked, they're weren't any manikins! Now GET TO WORK!" she ordered.

The interns hurried off in different directions, Gloria was the oldest daughter of Demetrius and Melanie Sterling, she was known to be a walking bomb and no one wanted to be around when she exploded.

The elevator doors opened, Joshlynne and Regina quickly walked off, seeing Regina made Gloria smile, finally something was going right. Regina was Gloria top choice to fill the Head of Cosmetics position and it pleased her to see that she was hired, she worked very hard to convince her father that Regina was the right choice.

"Regina, It's nice to see you again. I hope Joshlynne took good care of you." she stated, making eye contact with Joshlynne, who rolled her eyes up. Joshlynne and Gloria weren't the best of friends and clashed from time to time. Gloria knew Joshlynne wanted to be Mrs. Demetrius Sterling and made it very clear that it wouldn't happened.

Regina laughed, "Yes, she did a great job of putting my doubts to rest. I can't wait to start."

"That's good to hear!" Jeffery spoke as he walked up, extending a hand, "Hi I'm Jeffery Spellman, Gloria's husband, I'm Head of  Men's and I'll be happy to help you wit anything." explained Jeffery with a bright smile.

"Joshlynne I hope you're doing ok?

"I'm fine." spoke Joshlynne, who had developed a staring contest with Gloria.

Regina firmly shook his hand, "Why thank you, I'll be sure to take you up on that." she replied.

Regina noticed his smiled and lost herself in the features of his face and how perfect everything seemed to be positioned, who know God could create such a piece of fine work.

Joshlynne took her eyes off of Gloria, noticing Regina's expression toward Jeffery and decided to make something out of it.

Gloria placed a hand on Jeffery's shoulder, "Honey we need to get down to Convention Center and see if the models need anything."

Jeffery looked at Gloria and nodded, he glanced back at Regina, "Well it was a pleasure meeting you. Can't wait to see what you have in store." he added.

Regina smiled at him then bit her bottom lip as Gloria and Jeffery headed toward the elevator. "I can't believe his married." she uttered.

"And to that bitch, to make it worse." Joshlynne huffed at Regina's comment, "You know you could always change that."

Scene 4- The Sterling Mansion

Moans from Sterling Clothing's fashion designer, Felicia Hensley and Demetrius could be heard from the bedroom of Demetrius and Melanie's bedroom, as the door slowly opened. Marsha, Travis' ex and mother of his daughter crept in slowly, being careful not to be seen or heard. Marsha discovered a week ago from her partner in crime Joshlynne that Felicia, was having an affair with Demetrius. She knew that they both were married and she planned on using it to get back at the Sterlings for causing her to lose everything and a means of getting money.

Marsha slowly took out her digital camera, giggling to herself, she began to take pictures, as the two continued to make love.

Marsha and Joshlynne devised plan was to blackmail the two with the pictures, but eventually show them to everyone. After Demetrius and Melanie broke up, Joshlynne would be the one to be by Demetrius' side and eventually become his wife.

Marsha grinned evilly knowing that her plan was starting to come together. There were so many things she could do with these pictures, sell them to KIOU News, or to a tabloid or post them around town. She slowly crept out and closed the door back like she found it.

Out in the hallway, she quickly reviewed the pictures to make sure there were no blurs. Beaming from the excitement of what she had just accomplished Marsha said to her, "Travis biggest joy is having his family together, if Mommy Dearest and Daddy Dearest aren't together anymore, it'll destroy him and the rest of those demon children.."

She looked back at the door of which she came out of and laughed to herself, heading downstairs. She made her way outside and walked quickly to Travis' house which was right across the street. She stopped at the door and pulled out an enveloped address to her daughter Jackie whom she hadn't seen since she was three. Marsha had to leave Jackie with Travis and his wife, Lisa. After she was arrested for trying to kill Travis and Lisa both on their wedding day. Jackie was now 18.

"Now my daughter will know that mommy is back." she said with a bright smile.

Marsha began to wedge the letter between the door then took it out, "I want to make sure that she sees this first."

Marsha thought to herself, "I'll see to it that she gets it tonight at the show."

Scene 5- 2300 Proximity Lane

Sitting in her favorite black chair, facing the mirror Paige Thomas, Sterling's most famous model and spokesperson finished her makeup when the phone rang. She looked down to see it was her husband's best friend Maurice Braswell, Executive Producer for KIOU News. She hit the ignore button, Paige and Maurice had been sneaking off to different locations in town and having sex. Recently, Paige decided to break it off in order to work on her marriage to Anthony Morrow, Captain of San Diego's Police department and oldest son of Paul and Leona Morrow, owner of the Morrowian Bistro. Even though Paige has rejected him, Maurice wasn't ready to let go and still continued to pursue her.

"Who was that?" Anthony asked, coming out of the bathroom in his tuxedo pants and a black wife beater.

Paige looked up at him, "It was a text from Travis, thanking you for the police escorts for Alex and Jordan." she read to him.. Anthony, Maurice, Scott, Travis and his younger brother Randy, and their brother in law, Alex called themselves "the fifth", they'd been friends since practically birth and did almost everything they could for each other.

Buttoning up his shirt, he smiled, "Great, glad I could help." he confirmed as he walked over to Paige and helped her zipped up her forest green Sterling Original gown.

Paige turned around and kissed Anthony softly then adjusted his bowtie which matched her dress. "I can't wait to get to there. I think this one is going to be very exciting this year, we never had live performances during the show."

Anthony winked at Paige, "You look wonderful tonight." he walked over and kissed her again, "I think we should get going."

Paige grinned agreeing, "I think so too." she grabbed his hand, "Let's go."

Scene 6- San Diego Convention Center

Search lights filled the sky with as cars pulled up to the valets to be parked. Inside the show hadn't started yet but many people we're beginning to take their seats . Gloria dressed in a all black gown hurried over to Paul.

"Paul thanks again for the food, is everything okay?" she asked sweetly.

Paul smiled, "Everything is fine Gloria, thanks a lot." he replied.

"Remember Paul, you and Leona are sitting with mom and dad in the balcony, okay?" she reminded him.

Paul nodded, "okay great,  I think Leona's already up there with Melanie, as soon one of waiters get back I'm going to head up there."

Gloria smiled, as she walked away running into Felicia and her husband William Jones, one of two best lawyers in the city the second being Demetrius' youngest daughter Jasmine.

Gloria looked at Felicia, "Well if it isn't our famous dress designer." sarcastically acknowledged.

"Hi William."

Gloria and Felicia hated each other, the two have bumped heads over men, job positions and almost anything else.

Felicia smiled batting her eye lashes at Gloria, "Gloria the place looks great, Remind me to complement Travis." she responded, making it clear that she didn't care about Gloria's part in the show.

William placed his hand gently on Felicia's lower back, "Great to see you Gloria." He turned to Felicia and kissed her on the cheek, "I'm going to find my sister Shaugnessy and Scott." he stated.

Felicia nodded, "okay be there in a minute."

As William left Gloria crossed her arms and stepped closer to Felicia, "Let me explain something to you, I don't want any crap out of you tonight, Do I make myself clear?"

Felicia chuckled at Gloria, she never took her serious though they both did a good job of getting under each other's skin, "Gloria, I always behave myself, and FYI..."

Felicia winced her eyes focusing on that tiny particle between Gloria's teeth, "I would floss before I come out in public, then maybe there wouldn't be anything stuck between your teeth." advised Felicia before walking off.

Gloria gasped covering her mouth as she ran off to the bathroom, embarrassed.

"that is right, I just want to say that you all look wonderful, and I am so proud of you." she added.

Jonathan kissed Katrina on the cheek then shouted, "WE ARE!!!"

"VERITAS!!!" everyone shouted back, then began cheering.

Paige and Randy interrupted the celebration with their sarcastic clapping, "Well isn't this just wonderful." Paige stated dryly.

Randy snorted, "Yeah it is, no need to get bent out of shape we just wanted to wish you all good luck." he noted.

Katrina glared at the two, "We're not going to let you rain on our parade this is our night." she snarled.

Paige shook her head, "No...let me correct you there it's our night, Sterling Clothing, and just to let you know you better come correct or you'll be designing dresses for B-list celebrities again." she said.

Jonathan approached Randy and Paige, "You two better get the hell out now I can't say what will happen next if you keep this up."

Paige and Randy laughed at Jonathan's threat as they returned to their side of the stage.

Candace, Jonathan daughter hugged her father, "Daddy don't let that get you down, We ARE going to have a good show. Now I'm going to introduce us." She turned and looked at everyone. "It's show time!!" she yelled out. She took a deep breath, and head out towards the stage.

As Candace headed out Jonathan sighed now upset, he need to do something to get Veritas back on top again, this show could be his last chance for redemption.
