Episode 24 - "It's A Lonely Night!" (Printable Version)

Scene 1- The Sterling Mansion

The sun slowly came down out of the sky, giving the moon a chance to illuminate. The lights of the downtown San Diego buildings began lit up the night sky. That was something Marsha Lockwell (Bonita) always adored about San Diego as she stared out of the window from the den, it seemed to set her mind at ease. Especially now, since she is parading around under a false aliases, in hopes of getting Travis back into her life after all of these years. Marsha stuffed her hands in her apron pockets then shuttered as her hand touched the gun she kept hidden inside.

"That's over with now." she whispered to herself referring to the encounter she had with Carmella, the maid she kidnapped which ended in Marsha shooting Carmella in self defense.

"Bonita, what's over now?" Lisa asked softly holding her stomach as she entered into the den. She became a little on edge being in the same room with Bonita. Lisa couldn't quite put her finger on it but it was something about Bonita that gave her the creeps.

Bonita remained quiet and began to dust around the empty vase, "Nothing!" Bonita snarled.

Lisa raised an eyebrow and hobbled over to couch, "I only asked a question, no need for the attitude."

"You've done more than ask a question, you dumb bitch! You took my daughter and Travis away from. Pretty soon I'll have him back though and your ass will be out of the picture!" Bonita thought to herself as she shot an icy glare at Lisa, then she sighed remembering her plan.

"How's your husband?" she asked politely as Lisa's phone began to rang.

Lisa slowly moved toward her cell phone becoming more alarm by Bonita's sudden mood change, saved by the bell she thought as she picked up the phone.

"Hello?"

"Lisa, I don't mean to alarm you. But Travis is awake." Demetrius exclaimed through the phone.

Lisa grinned and clutched the phone overcome with joy, "I'm on the way." she hung up the phone and grabbed her purse.

"Is everything alright?" Bonita asked hoping to hear news on Travis.

"Everything is perfect." Lisa stated with excitement hurrying to the door, "My husband is awake!"

Lisa quickly hurried out of the den, through the living room and out the front door, Bonita followed behind then closed the door and locked it with a glare. "He is supposed to be my husband!"

Scene 2- 2300 Proximity Lane

Paige Thomas lit the last candle in the master bedroom as a smooth jazz melody played in the background. She needed some time to herself, time to figure out what to do next. She laid on the bed and pulled out her favorite book, which always seemed to put a smile on her face and began reading from where she left off. She turned the page and frowned noticing the picture of herself and her husband Anthony which she used as a bookmark. Paige blamed herself for everything that has happened, cheating on him with Maurice was the worst mistake she ever made. Now, her husband was in jail and Maurice was dead and buried.

Paige picked up the picture and smile reminiscing on the times she shared with Anthony, as door flew opened. Leona storm into the bedroom, with a suitcase and began placing Anthony's belongings in it.

"Leona what are you doing?" Paige struggled to say as she tried to catch her breath from the scared she just suffered. She got up and stormed over to Leona. "How did you get in here?"

"I don't have anything to say to you!" Leona snarled continuing to fold Anthony's shirt then put them in the box.

 "Who the..." Paige snatched one the shirts from Leona "I can't believe you would just storm in my house and...."

"No I can't believe you would do that to my son! You... you bitch!" Leona shouted stopping Paige in her sentence.

"MY SON LOVED YOU!"

"Leona please get out." Paige begged as tears began to form in her eyes, this was a conversation that she didn't want to have with any member of Anthony's family.

"I'm not going anywhere until I have all of my son's things!" Leona replied coldly folding her arms.

"You're not going anywhere with his stuff!" Paige snapped back dialing 911 on her blackberry. "I'm calling the police."

Scene 3- The Veritas Building

"What the hell is this?" Jonathan asked looking at the folder that Jeffery just slammed on his desk. He looked up at his older brother shaking his head refusing to read what was in the folder, the same folder that Jeffery was reading earlier today. He found something inside that raised questions about Jonathan's leadership.

"This company is going under, little brother." Jeffery informed preparing to really come down hard on Jonathan.

Jonathan stood up and laughed in Jeffery's face not taking him serious, he knew the company was going under but refused to hear Jeffery say I told you so. "Now how would a Sterling employee know what is going on over at Veritas...by the way, how are you all handling that scandal that "Big Poppa" has caused?"

"I'm still a member of board here, Johnny!"

"You can be removed," Jonathan shot back quickly.

Jeffery folded his arms becoming angry, "Let me explain something too you pompous jerk, you better do something soon or the company that our mother has work for will crumble and I swear to god..."

"That you'll make me pay?" Jonathan snickered out finishing Jeffery's statement, "Let me explain something to you. Veritas is doing fine. If I was in your shoes, I'd be trying to get my job back here because Sterling days are numbered. Thanks to Demetrius."

Jeffery shook his head amazed by his brother's front, he reached over and picked up the folder.

"Jonathan this is your second warning...you better straighten up."

Jonathan raised an eyebrow intrigue by his brother's "warning", "This wouldn't be a threat would it?"

Jeffery laughed, "Just know that Karma is a bitch. Enjoy your CEO position...because YOUR days are numbered." he uttered heading towards the door, "Have a great night, Johnny Boy."

Jonathan plopped down in his chair and attempted to get back to work, but knowing that Jeffery knew the truth about Veritas scared him. Did Jeffery have a plan? Or was this Demetrius' warning through his brother? Either way he needed to do something fast. He got up quickly and grabbed his briefcase and rushed out the door, he had a bottle of wine with his name on it.

Scene 4- The Spellman Place

A wine goblet hit the kitchen bar counter then filled up quickly with wine, Felicia laid the half empty bottle beside the glass then caressed her right hand which was still sore from punching Eva at the funeral. Felicia exhaled realizing she had absolutely nothing, but the only person she could blame was herself.

"Wine glass, you are my new best friend." she whispered raising it to her lips. She shuttered hearing William's voice in her head from the night he put her out of their home after confronting her about her affair with Demetrius.

This is too unreal." William walked over to the sofa and with one hand grabbed the suitcase he packed for Felicia then grabbed Felicia's wrist with the other.

"What are you doing?" Felicia moaned trying to get free as William drugged her to the door. "Let me go!"

"Since you want to be the next Mrs. Sterling!"  William shouted dropping the suitcase so he could open the door. He threw the suitcase outside in the yard then pushed Felicia outside. "Your free! Go be with him."

Tears streamed down Felicia's face "How could I let this happened...Felicia you really messed up this time." she admitted to herself, before filling her glass with another more wine.

"What is going to happen to me now?" she asked the wine bottle.

Felicia began to laugh to herself, "I can only image what everyone is saying. The slut of San Diego probably." she mumbled beginning to sob.

"I don't want to be the slut of San Diego, I've worked to hard to let that happen."

Felicia took back another glass of wine quickly, then slamming the glass down on the counter enraged.

"DO YOU HEAR ME! I AM NOT GOING TO LET TAKE ANYTHING ELSE FROM ME!"

Scene 5- St Mark's Memorial Hospital

Lisa stood at the door beaming with joy, she was ecstatic to see Travis' smile once again. She didn't think she would ever get a chance to see his smile ever again.

"So are you just going to stand there and stare or come over here." Travis asked sitting up in his bed with Jackie at his bedside.

Lisa shook her head and rushed over to him, she placed a hand on his cheek and stroked it softly then kissed him passionately, "I missed you so much." she whispered.

"Likewise babe!" Travis replied kissing Lisa back, he laughed noticing his wife's baby bump. "Is there something you want to tell me?"

Jackie laughed realizing her step-mother never got a chance to tell Travis about the baby. "Oh god Lisa, we never told him did we?"

Lisa looked down at her stomach then rubbed it with a giggle, "...in three more months you'll be a daddy once again. We never got a chance to tell you after I found out...you got into your accident. Plus with the possibility that Marsha could be lose I was scared to tell anyone."

Travis grabbed Jackie's hand and grabbed Lisa's hand, "We'll be just fine."

"The four of us."

Jackie's smiled faded away as Demetrius entered the room.

"Could you give us a minute?" Travis requested softly.

Lisa looked at Jackie, "Let's go down to the cafe, I have a huge craving for sweets."

Jackie laughed, "Sounds like a plan!" she uttered, as they exited the room.

Scene 6- The Sterling Mansion

Marsha snatched off her blonde wig as scrambled to the door, she called her partner in crime Joshlynne over to discuss the next phase of their plan. Marsha opened the door and snatched Joshlynne in "Get in here quick."

"Someone's panties are in a bunch." Joshlynne teased walking to the living to hoped that would one day be hers, "Where is everyone?"

"Travis is awake so everyone rushed to the hospital." Marsha replied very unhappy about the situation. She wanted desperately to be at the hospital and tell Travis how much she loved him.

"What next in our plan's Joshlynne I've carried out my end of the deal."

Joshlynne sat down on the couch and crossed her legs as if she was the lady of the house, she looked up at Marsha and grinned.

"What do you mean?"

Marsha shot a cold glare at Joshlynne, "Don't play dumb with me, Joshlynne. I gave Eva the pictures and she's showed them on screen. Melanie and Demetrius are going to split."

"Marsha that was it, that was the plan." Joshlynne informed. "Was supposed to do anything.'

"I...I...I don't understand?" Marsha questioned becoming upset, if Joshlynne was planning on backstabbing her it was going to be the biggest mistake she ever did. "You told me if I ruined Demetrius and Melanie's marriage you would help me get Travis back!"

Joshlynne stood up and smiled sympathetically, "I'm sorry if you miss understood our agreement, but this partnership is over."

Scene 7- St Mark's Memorial Hospital

"How are you feeling?" Demetrius asked sitting down by Travis' bedside.

Travis looked at his father full of shame, his bottom lip quivered struggling to keep from breaking down.

"Son are you okay?" Demetrius grew alarm at Travis' action he fear Travis could fall back into a coma or even worse.

"I heard every word you said." Travis growled.

"Felicia, dad?"

"Dad, is that why you wanted me to back you in promoting Felicia?"

"Son, Felicia is a very good business woman."

Travis clenched the sides of his bed becoming angry, "Are you really going to continue with that sad story? Dad, you've fuck up! You've fucked up big time and it's cost us...."

Travis sat back realizing Felicia was the cause of his accident, "...you sent us out in that storm. You wanted to protect Felicia the night Gloria quit."I'

"Son, you've got to understand..."

"...I understand between you and Ruby lips I almost died!"

Demetrius looked down, he could handle Gloria's scolds but Travis' was another story, "Son, I don't know what to say."

"Say you're welcome! Thanks to you our family is over."

Scene 8- The Spellman Place

The garage doorknob turned and Jonathan walked into the kitchen dropping his briefcase on the counter, he looked down and growled at the empty bottle of wine that he was craving for.

"That damn Sharon and Brad probably demolished my favorite wine, trying to have a romantic night."

Felicia stumbled into the kitchen, she wrapped her silk robe around her then covered her mouth giggling. "You're home Johnny!" she whispered, walking over to him.

Jonathan raised an eyebrow at Felicia as she sat down at the bar, "I guess Brad and Sharon didn't drink that bottle."

Felicia gasped then snickered, "Oh I'm sorry, I needed something to make me feel better, this hasn't been my week!" she uttered, leaning against the counter.

Jonathan shurgged then walked over to the refrigator and grabbed a carton of milk, "We all have bad times Felicia."

"This is a disaster. My marriage is ruin, my kids hate me and I have no where to stay."

"You're staying here!" Jonathan replied becoming annoyed, he hated people who dwelled in their own self pity.

Felicia crossed her arms, "I want to go home."

"Then go!"

"William won't have me!"

Jonathan laughed a bit, "Be serious, Lover boy is going to take you back just give him time. Yeah, you cheated...got caught...got your boobies shown all over national television and..."

"...Where are you going with this Jonathan?" Felicia interrupted.

"It could be worse Felicia, you still have your career. Focus on that which is good, not on the bad. In time things will work themselves out."

Felicia smiled at Jonathan, "I guess you're right."

Scene 9- 277 Proximity Lane

Leona stormed over to Paige, "Your not calling anyone!" she shouted as she quickly grabbed the phone from Paige. She clicked the end button to stop her call to the police then threw it across the room breaking it.

"HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND!" Paige screamed, fearing her life.

"I'm walking out of this house with my son's things. So when he gets out of jail, it'll save him a trip and he won't have to see your cheating face!"

"This has nothing to do with you!" Paige sobbed, "Anthony and I will get through this!"

Leona threw her head back laughing at Paige, "Paige, you and my son ARE through! Do you understand that?"

"THAT'S NOT YOUR DECISION, LEONA!"

"You're right! It's Anthony and I'm pretty sure he's done with you."

Paige ran her fingers through her hair trying to keep herself from breaking down, "You know the only good thing about this situation is that you won't be my mother in law anymore!"

"You've made my life a living hell!"

Leona stormed over to Paige and slapped her, "I never like you and I hoped and prayed you wouldn't break my son's heart. But you did and for that I'm going to make you pay!"

Leona walked over to the bed and zipped her suitcase closed, "Anthony's things are coming with me!" she snarled as she stormed out of the room.

Paige flopped on the bed in tears, she cover her face with a pillow and began to scream as loud as she could into it. She just wanted this nightmare to be over.
