Scene 1- San Diego Police Department

"What am I doing here?" Joshlynne Ramirez asked herself still trying to process what just happened to her. She was arrested for the murder of a woman she barely knew and to make matters worse it happened during the Christmas party, in front of all of her friends and most importantly in front of the man she loved Demetrius Sterling.  She looked around in the interview room where she was placed in order to questioned by the police. She was scared, confused and wanted some answers, first being who is Carmella Funtez and why was she being framed for her murder. She hoped someone was down here trying to get her out.

"Mrs. Ramirez?" Jonas asked as he entered into the room, "I'm Detective Wilson. If you don't mind, I would like to ask you a few questions?"

"I guess, I'm not sure if I'll be able to answer any of them for you though." Joshlynne reluctantly replied looking up at the detective.

Jonas sat down at the table across from Joshlynne, ignoring the last comment she just made. He always expected a criminal not to know anything until terms like plea bargain came into the conversation. He studied Joshlynne for a moment, then cleared his throat.

"What is your relation to the victim?"

Joshlynne scratched her head and shrugged, "Detective, I have no relationship to that lady."

"I didn't kill anybody!"

"Mrs. Ramiez, we have evidence proving otherwise!" Jonas shot back crossing his arms, "One of the housekeepers found a gun in your room...The same gun used to kill Carmella Funtez."

"Detective, I was at work during the time of her death!"

"Until you prove it, your bond is set at a $100,000...according to the judge."

Joshlynne sat back in her chair, she knew things were not looking good for her. Her hands began trembling unsure of what to do or how to answer any further questions. She had to do something and quick before she ended up in jail.

Scene 2- The Morrowian Bistro

"Everyone this party is not over!" Leona announced over the loud chatter of people, who didn't seem to hear her. They were too busy gossiping about the drunken outburst from Felicia Hensley and Joshlynne being arrested for the murder of the Sterling family's maid.

Leona huffed as Jeffery joined her at the front of the bistro, he put both of his pinky fingers to his lips and whistled loudly to get everyone's attention.

"Leona has something she wants to say." Jeffery informed everyone with a kind smile.

Leona blushed then placed her hands on her hips, "Despite the events that just took place, the party is not over. Paul is going to get the music back going and I want everyone to have a good time ok?"

The party seemed to return to normal as the music came back on, Leona smiled brightly and hugged Jeffery thanking him for getting everyone's attention. Gloria walked out of the bathroom after being embarrassed by Felicia's false accusations that she was sleeping with William. She was still anger but she wanted to get back to her main goal of finding out who the Sidora woman was, especially now that Demetrius went to the police station.

Gloria made her way to the bar where, Lisa and Jasmine sat sharing a bowl of peanuts, "Have you two seen our father's date?" she asked searching the room for Sidora herself.

Jasmine rolled her eyes at her older sister knowing what her sister was about to do, "Gloria you were already in one spat! Don't start another one."

"I just simply want to know who she is, why she's here and what she is doing with our father. I'm going to be on my best behavior I promise."

Lisa giggled, "Well in that case she's over by the window talking to Jeffery."

Gloria growled becoming annoyed, first her father, now her husband. It was time to get Ms. Duncan in check early. Gloria left without saying goodbye and made a B-line for Sidora.

Waving her sister off, Jasmine focused her attention back on her sister in law, "How are you feeling?"

Lisa looked at Jasmine as her bad vibe about Bonita came on, "I think Bonita has it in for me."

Scene 3- The Sterling Mansion

Nathan and Randy laughed uncontrollably at John Taylor the comedian, who was feature on the Christmas Laughter Special on television. Melanie stormed into the living room, she snatched off her jacket. The jacket that Demetrius gave her for her birthday last year, she stared at the coat becoming enraged. Melanie couldn't believe Demetrius' actions at the party, appearing with another woman after he cheated on her. She balled up the coat and threw it in the fireplace.

"Did she just throw that expensive ass coat in the fireplace?" Nathan whispered to Randy, who turned down the television.

"Mom are you okay?" Randy asked getting up from the couch to check on his mother.

"No, I am not! Your father showed up at Leona's Christmas party with some woman!"

"Are you serious?" Randy grew angry. "Mom, you can't be serious."

Nathan looked over at Randy, "Judging by the coat being in the fireplace...I think she is."

Randy cut his eye at Nathan then re-focused his attention back to his mother, "Mom, I'm so sorry you had to see that."

"Do you know who she was?" Nathan asked.

"No!" Melanie ran her fingers through her hair, "I've never seen this side of your father before and I'd be lying if I said it didn't bother me." she admitted as Bonita and Jonathan came into the living room.

"Excuse, Mrs. Sterling? Mr. Spellman is here to see you." Bonita announced before heading upstairs.

Melanie looked at Jonathan who grin slightly, "I just wanted to see if you we're ok."

"She's fine!" Randy rudely replied, he didn't like Jonathan because of the Jonathan and Demetrius rivalry.

Melanie place a hand on Randy's shoulder, "Give us a minute."

Randy looked at his mother then shot an icy glare at Jonathan, before he and Nathan went into the kitchen.

Melanie smiled and walked over to Jonathan, "Thank you for coming but I don't want anyone's sympathy. So if that's what you're here for you can leave."

Scene 4- The Spellman House

Sharon stood at the bar holding a small glass of ice water as she stared marble swirls in the bar trying to figure out why her sister was acting this way. Drinking, making outrageous outbursts and carrying on if she didn't care about her reputation as an admirable business woman anymore. Sharon sighed, pulling her hair into a ponytail as Brad walked into the kitchen.

"How's Felicia?"

Sharon gave her husband the don't ask look then crossed her arms leaning on the bar, "She's sleeping right now. I'm starting to think she hit rock bottom. She ripped into William and Gloria and accused them of sleeping together during the party."

Brad's eyes opened wide, he wanted to laugh but didn't think that was a good idea at the time, "You're kidding."

"I wish." Sharon replied walking over to the sink to refill her water, "Brad it was like she was a totally different person. If your brother hadn't gotten out of there I think Gloria would've ripped her apart."

Brad shook his head, then walked over to his wife and hugged her tightly, "Baby don't worry it, Felicia will be just fine."

Sharon laid her head on Brad's chest, "I don't know, I think Felicia drinking is starting to get the best of her."

"I have my drinking under control!" Felicia announced rudely storming into the kitchen, "And I don't need you two in here blabbering on and on about me."

"Felicia we just want to help you." Brad said walking over to the refrigerator, he took out a bottle of water and handed it to Felicia.

"I don't want, nor do I need any help!" Felicia shot out as tears fell down her face, she took the bottle of water and threw it across the room and screamed, "I just want my family back, is that too much to ask?"

Scene 5- The Morrowian Bistro

The party seemed to be going pretty well, thanks to the constant liquor and food, Paul was pumping out.

"How long are you in town for?" Jeffery asked his new friend Sidora as he took a sip from his wine glass.

"That's the same question I was going to ask." Gloria said as she walked up to her husband and Sidora. Gloria smiled and motioned for Jeffery to give her and Sidora a moment.

Sidora smiled feeling awkward she knew Gloria and the rest of Demetrius family wasn't too keen about her being Demetrius' date for the party, "Like I was telling Jeffery, I'm thinking about making San Diego, my new home."

Gloria crossed her arms trying to keep up her front, "Oh that's nice, so I guess the obvious answer to my next question is that you and my father are shacking up right?"

Sidora placed her glass on the mantle becoming insulted by Gloria's remarks, "Excuse me?"

"You and my father are staying together right?"

"No, we're not." Sidora rudely answered.

"So why are you here?"

"Gloria, that is none of your business. Your father and I are friends nothing more."

Gloria placed her hands and stepped a little closer to Sidora, she felt like it was time to let Sidora know who she was dealing with.

"Listen, Sidora. You're new here and I don't want you to get in over your head. I think it would be best if you didn't get yourself involved in family business."

"You mean dysfunctional family business." Sidora laughed at Gloria's cockiness then leaned in closer to Gloria, "You should watch who the hell you're talking to. I eat bitches like you for snacks. Pump ya brakes and think before you fly off the handle...especially with me!"

Gloria gasped shocked that Sidora came back at her that way, "Wait a min..."

"Nice to meet you." Sidora said ending her sentence, she grabbed her wine glass and walked away to meet a few new people, leaving Gloria speechless.

Sidora made her way through the people who seemed to be enjoying themselves on the dance floor, she past by the bar and made her way to the bathroom.

Alex who was standing at the bar looked up and noticed Sidora, "Hey!" he called out realizing who Sidora was.

Recognizing Alex's voice, Sidora hurried into the bathroom, leaving Alex very confused by what just happened. Alex turned around as Paul approached him.

"Enjoying yourself?"

Alex grinned, nodding his head, "Yeah man, Jasmine and I always look forward to this. It always kicks off the Christmas holiday."

Paul laughed grabbing a handful of beer nuts, "How's your nephew, Leona told me you all had a little trouble."

"Oh thanks for asking, he's doing pretty good. Speaking of which, I wondering if you could do me a favor. Nathan needs to learn some responsibility. I think you could help out with that."

Paul smiled, he was always excited about helping the his friends, "Yeah, have him come in after the holidays, I'll see what I can do for him."

Alex patted Paul on the shoulder and sighed a sigh of relief, "Thank you."

"Anytime! Now if you'll excuse me...I'm going to see if my wife needs anything."

Alex watched as Paul walked away then thought about Sidora and why she was avoiding her favorite nephew.

"You know the party is over there right?" Gloria said with a slight grin as she sat down beside her sister in law.

Jasmine rolled her eyes at her sister's remark, she could really put her foot in her mouth at times, "You've really got us worried please tell us what happened with Bonita?"

Lisa looked at Jasmine, "I get this really terrible feeling when I am around her, like it's not safe to be around her."

"You know I really don't like her either, she's very sneaky." Gloria added placing a hand on Lisa's knee, "She's up to something...I wish I knew what it was."

Lisa exhaled becoming very nervous, "I wish I knew also, and she's so obsessed with Travis and Jackie for some reason, which makes me wonder if she's somewhat associated with..."

"Don't say her name!" Gloria warned feeling just as nervous as Lisa, "Lisa honey, everything is going to be alright."

"But that letter?" Lisa reminded her sister in laws. "She told Jackie in that letter that she would make all of us suffer."

Jasmine frowned remember the threat from that letter, "That doesn't mean she's out of the mental hospital she could've wrote that just to mess with your head."

Lisa shook her head growing weary of the current conversation, "If you don't mind, I'm going to get something to drink. Do you all want anything?"

Gloria shook her head as Jasmine mouthed the words no. Lisa headed toward the bar to get a drink of water, she passed by Eva who was suddenly reminded of her conversation with Travis which sent a chill down her spine. She quickly threw on a smile as Laddie approached her.

"Doing ok?" Laddie asked.

Eva nodded then hugged Laddie, she peeped over his shoulder and watched Lisa fearing what could soon happen.

Scene 7- San Diego Police Department

"Have you found out anything?" Demetrius asked William came from the back.

William looked at Demetrius and ignored his question, and walked over to Travis who was being questioned by Jonas.

"Travis can you confirmed that Joshlynne was inside the Sterling building at 11:00 pm around the first of October?" Jonas asked crossing his arms.

"Well I was in a coma during that time but my father can answer that question." Travis responded kindly.

"Detective Wilson, I can answer that and yet she was. We we're working on a few designs with Felicia Hensley." Demetrius said scratching his head.

"I don't think she could've killed our maid...she had nothing against her." Demetrius added.

"I agree." Travis reluctantly said. "Joshlynne is a friend of the family...minus my mom and oldest sister."

"Well you two have saved your friend." Jonas stated coldly before going to the back, to tell Joshlynne she had been posted on bail and free to go.

Travis and Demetrius looked at each other wondering what was going to happen next. The doors opened and Joshlynne hurried out happy to be released from that hell hold. She sighed a sigh of relief and ran over to Demetrius.

"You came! Thank you." Joshlynne whispered. "I thought you'd forgotten about me."

"How could I?" Demetrius laughed and kissed Joshlynne on the cheek, "Let's go."

William walked over to Travis as Demetrius and Joshlynne left, "Did you see what I just saw?"

Travis rolled his eyes and growled, "I'm trying to forget about it at we speak!"

Scene 8- The Sterling Mansion

"Melanie, I wanted to check on you. You left the party pretty quickly after Demetrius showed up with Sidora." Jonathan stated making himself comfortable on the couch beside Melanie and grinned, "Are you ok?"

Touch by Jonathan's gestures, Melanie smiled apologetically and placed her hand on Jonathan's hand, "I'm sorry for that, I shouldn't have snapped on you and yes I'm fine now."

Jonathan grabbed Melanie's hand, she looked up at him then looked away, "Jonathan I feel like a fool getting upset like that. I just want to get passed all of this."

"You can...don't let Mr. Hotshot get under your skin. This is your chance to live your life." Jonathan noted, "You should come with me."

"Where are you going?" Melanie asked, giving his offer some thought.

"I'm going to Knightdale, NC. My uncle is giving my cousin an engagement party and I promised him I'd be there. Then I have some other business I need to take care of." Jonathan replied flashing Melanie his school boy smile, "It would be nice to have a pretty lady like you on my arm."

Melanie cut her eye playfully at Jonathan then shook her head, "I wish but I think I'll take a rain check. When are you leaving?"

"Tomorrow morning, you'll that last person I'll see before I leave."

Melanie smiled, she leaned in to Jonathan and kissed him passionately, she didn't know why she did it but it felt good to so and she seemed to forget about everything. Jonathan's face grew red as he kissed Melanie back just as passionately, he pulled back confused.

"What was that for?"

Melanie grinned, "A little something to send you off with."

"Goodbye, Jonathan."

"Felicia you can't talk to Brad like that he's just trying to help you. What is wrong with you?" Sharon snarled, growing upset with her sister.

"I don't need this from any of you!" Felicia screamed. "Just leave me alone please."

Felicia walked over to the bar and pulled out a bottle of gin, then reached for a glass. Sharon hurried behind her and snatched the bottle away from her.

"What do you think you're doing?" Sharon shouted beginning to realize her sister has gone off the deep end.

"Give me that back!" Felicia reached for the bottle but missed as Sharon stepped back, "I'm going to drink away my sorrows. Demetrius nor, William wants me!"

Sharon raised an eyebrow becoming confused, "Did you talk to William?"

"I went by there today to see my children and he basically has moved on! He was so cruel to me." Felicia sobbed. "Sharon I don't think I can do this anymore."

"I messed up I really have."

Sharon walked over to her sister and hugged her, "Everything will be ok." she assured her sister. Sharon sighed realizing she had to do something to help her sister before it was too late.
