Scene 1- The Sterling Mansion

"Give me the green light, give me just one night." sung Alex, as he watched John Legend perform at the fashion show, from the couch of the Sterling Mansion. Alex was one of best African American doctors on the west coast of the United States. He and his wife Jasmine Sterling  couldn't make show this year, instead they decided to stay home and look after her older brother's wife, Lisa who mysteriously kept getting sick.

Jasmine came out of back holding a wet cloth, "Gosh I've never seen someone vomit so much. This is getting ridiculous." she whined, tying her hair in a ponytail.

Alex chuckled a bit as he got up to stretch, "Well it's good know she's in good hands. With you...Nurse Jasmine." he jokingly said, wrapping his arms around her.

Jasmine rolled her eyes as she laughed, slapping his chest with the wet towel, "You are no good. You should be doing this, you're the doctor."

She sighed a bit flustered, "I know one thing, Travis owes me big time." she stated peeping over Alex's shoulder at the television.

"Has Veritas gone yet?" Jasmine asked. "I'm dying to see what trashy dresses Jonathan and Katrina has designed."

Alex shook his head, "No not yet, I think they're going...." he noticed Candace walking to stage, "No wait, I think they're on now."

Jasmine quickly grabbed the remote and turned the volume up as she and Alex plopped on the couch, cuddling up to watch the show.

Scene 2- The San Diego Convention Center

The crowd cheered as Candace made her way to the front of the stage. She looked around beaming, soaking in praises from the crowd, she gasped clasping her hands together.

"Thank you all for coming tonight, I hope you enjoyed that great performance by John Legend." she explained as the crowd exploded with hand claps.

As the crowd simmered down, Candace continued, "Veritas is Italian for Truth, meaning we will always be true to you, and you can expect nothing but the best from us." she bragged.

"We've worked very hard to make this a very successful night, along with Sterling Clothing."

As Candace continued her introduction for Veritas, Marsha dressed in a black gown floated in. She stopped at the door and looked around for a waiter, she had envelopes addessed for Felicia and her daughter Jackie but didn't want to be the one to actually deliver them, fearing that it may blow her cover and ruin her plan of blackmailing Felicia and Demetrius.

Duane, carrying a tray of champagne past by Marsha. "Bingo, I get him to do it." she uttered in excitement, before she hurrying after him.

"Um Excuse me sir...Umm waiter?" she called out.

Duane stopped and looked at Marsha, "Um Yes...can I offer you some champagne?" he offered.

Marsha smiled taking out a small brown envelope with Felicia's name on it, "Why yes thank you." she replied, taking a glass as well. "I was also wondering if you could deliver this letter."

Duane looked at the letter a bit confused, "Umm we're not allowed to do that, it's against company's policy." he uttered.

Marsha frowned, "Oh please sir, pretty please." she begged, "I'm asking you nicely."

She tried to think of way to persuade him, then it dawned on her "Oh wait." she commanded.

Marsha pulled out two twenty dollar bills, "Will this persuade you?" she asked showing him the money.

Duane beamed, "okay sure, who's it going to?"

Marsha batted her eyelashes, grinning, "Felicia Jones, she made a dress for me a few months ago, and I never got a chance to thank her so hopefully this letter will change her night." she lied.

Duane grinned, taking the letter, "OK great, that's my mother so I'll be sure to give it to her."

Marsha grinned, "Ok great." she exclaimed, raising her glass.

As Duane walked off, Marsha's smiled faded to a frown, "If I could only see the look on Felicia's face when she see what's in that envelope." she looked toward the stage, where Candace was still talking.

"and with that being said, I present to you Veritas' Afterlife, Our Version of Heaven and Hell." Candace explained as the crowd begin cheers and handclaps. Candace walked off the stage as the lights dimmed.

A spot light quickly shined to the middle of the floor and Untouched by the Veronicas began to play. The crowd with wild jumping up and down, as the Veronicas dressed in black Veritas dresses came down the runway performing their song.

A confident Jonathan looked up at his wife Katrina and grinned, the way things were going. Judging by the cheers from the crowd, Veritas had definitely stole the show.

Eva helped Marsha attempt to break up Travis and Lisa and after Marsha went off the deep end, Eva turn her in to the police.

Marsha gasped, realizing who it was, she turned around and glared, "Eva Morrow, the crazy reporter who almost lost her job." Marsha snarled. "So now you bother people for a living now?"

Eva placed her hands on her hip, pretending to be surprised at Marsha's reaction to see her, "and that's all you have to say, Marsha we've been through so much together." she reminded her pleasantly.

"You know if it wasn't for you I never wouldn't met my Lorenzo." she bragged.

Marsha crossed her arms, glaring at Eva, "I'm busy Eva what do you want?"

Eva gasped faking hurt feelings, she began to speak as Maurice, her executive producer walked over to her, "Eva we need to talk." he ordered, cutting off her sentence. He had very important news to tell her.

Eva looked at Maurice annoyed by his introduction, then at Marsha with a smile, "Well this conversation was interesting, but I have to go now." She handed Marsha one of her business cards with a smirk. "Call me, We have a lot to discuss."

Marsha snatched the card rolling her eyes, "I highly doubt it, Eva."

Eva snickered, then walked off with Maurice.

Marsha looked at Eva's card, she read to herself, "Eva Morrow Lead Reporter for KIOU. Looks like she back on her feet." She looked up and noticed Felicia and Demetrius talking.

A grinned slowly came to her face as she realized what she was going to do with those pictures of Felicia and Demetrius.

Eva and Maurice walked over to the by the restroom to get away from everyone. Eva crossed her arms concerned about what Maurice wanted to talk to her about.

"Eva, we just got word that it's possible that KIOU could go national but we're counting on your show to take us to the top." Maurice explained with excitement.

Eva beamed with joy, "Oh my god really? I'm pretty sure I can find something between now and next week." she confirmed.

Maurice smiled giving her a thumbs up, "Alright good, you have four weeks, to give me something." she explained "We're counting on you Eva."

Jackie, Travis' only daughter made her way out of the kitchen wiping the sweat off her brow, "Oh my god it's hell in there." she exclaimed.

Marie, Gloria and Jeffery's daughter came up holding a tray of dirty dishes for the dish washer. She laughed a bit amused by how tired Jackie was, "See, I told you not to work the kitchen, cousin. I did it last year and it was hell. I vowed I'll never do it again." she explained with a slight grin.

They both started laughing, as Marie pulled out an envelope, "oh by the way some lady told me to give this to you." she noted.

Confused, Jackie took the letter, "I wonder who this is from." she said to herself as she began to open the letter.

One of the kitchen managers stuck his head out, "HEY JACKIE, We're not paying you to lounge around, get back in here!!" he shouted rudely.

Jackie put in the letter inside her apron, frowning in disappointment she really wanted to know what was in the letter and who it was from, "I'll guess I'll have to read it later." she uttered.

Marie sighed just as disappointed as Jackie, "Well we'll look at it after we get off." she stated.

Jackie nodded before walking back into the kitchen, the manager looked at Marie, "Marie you need to get back to work also!" he demanded.

Marie quickly hurried in also to get more clean dishes.

Duane walked away from his mother Felicia after giving her the letter Marsha paid him to deliver. Felicia seemed confused she couldn't remember who the lady was, then again she has designed so many dresses for people it could be from anybody.

"Everything alright?" Sharon asked walking up behind her. Sharon was Felicia younger sister.

Felicia turned to her showing her the letter, "I got this from someone I designed a dress for, she wanted to thank me." she said softly with a grin.

Sharon smiled, she like when her sister designs were appreciated. "Well go ahead open it, We'll read it together." she offered.

Felicia laughed from excitement, ripping it open, there was a white piece of paper in the envelope she took it out handing it to Sharon the envelope.

"Now three of us know." she read aloud. "What is this talking about? this is isn't a thank you note?"

"Oh my god!" Sharon exclaim as held the photo, "Felicia I don't know if I should show you this?"

Felicia looked back down at the picture of her and Demetrius making love. Felicia's face was filled with ecstasy and more passion then she had felt with her husband William.

Sharon snatched the picture from Felicia and stuffed it in back in the envelope, "come on we need to find out who gave this to Duane."

Sharon and Felicia hurried trying to find to Duane.

Marsha noticed their abrupt exit and grinned devilishly figuring out that they'd seen the photo.

"Now let the games begin." she whispered to herself, before taking a sip from her champagne glass.

Lisa frowned, very confused, "Alex I really don't know what is going on, I keep throwing up, my body doesn't feel right and it's like I'm not myself anymore."

Alex crossed his arms, he was a doctor and seen many of these symptoms before, "It sounds like you may be pregnant."

Not believing Alex, Lisa glared at him, "I don't believe that, Alex. I can't be pregnant." She looked down at her stomach as she began to feel nauseated again. "Excuse me Alex." she said, before hurrying back into the bathroom.

"You never returned my call. What happened?" he demanded.

Disgusted Paige placed the glass down on the nearest table, "Maurice, my husband was home." she abruptly replied.

Leona smiled, "hi you two."

Maurice smiled, "Hey Leona, how are you?"

"Hi Maurice I'm fine. thanks for asking."

"Umm Paige can I speak to you in private please." Leona asked.
