Scene 1- The Platinum Haven
Raindrops plummeted the ground, giving signs that today was going to be a bad day for many in San Diego. Bradley Spellman walked into the Platinum Haven, hoping to treat himself to a great lunch. He rustled the raindrops off of his jacket and placed his umbrella on a rack. He looked up and saw his oldest brother, Jeffery eating lunch. Brad sighed trying to decide if he wanted to join his brother or go to another table. All of the conversations between his brother's were about the company and he tired of discussing Veritas, all he wanted was a normal life between his family.
Jeffery finished chewing his sandwich, he wiped his mouth. He smiled noticing Brad and motioned for him to join him, hopefully with Jonathan out of town he could find out something about Veritas or at least have a normal conversation with his baby brother.
Bradley scoffed then reluctantly walked over to his brother's table and took a seat, "Hey Jeffery, odd seeing you here."
"Yeah, Gloria and I decided it would be nice to have lunch together for once."
Bradley grinned happy they weren't discussing the company, he looked around for Gloria, "Where's Gloria now?"
"Melanie called her a few minutes ago up, she said she had something to tell her." Jeffery answered as he slide the basket of dinner rolls over to Brad. "Help yourself!"
Brad shot his brother a suspicious look then eyed the rolls as they had been poisoned, he frowned realizing they're friendly conversation just went into business mode. "What are you up too?"
Jeffery laughed on the inside, he knew this was a bullshit attempt to get information from his brother but he needed to find out what was going on inside the company in order to carry out his takeover. He took a sip from his water and grin kindly, "I can't offer my brother a dinner roll without a secret motive?"
Brad took a dinner roll and bite off of it, keeping his guard up, "Not when your brother knows you're trying to regain control of a company that was stolen from you."
"So go ahead ask me. Cut the crap! What do you want to know, Jeffery?"
Scene 2- The Sterling Mansion
Melanie Sterling soon to be going back to her maiden name, watched the rain run down the patio doors. She was happy that she was able to get on with her life without Demetrius but at the same time she was very hurt that 34 years of her life with him was over. She was unable to get over the fact that he cheated on her and managed to embarrass their family by getting images of himself in action on national television. Then to make matters worse he flaunted off a new woman at her best friend's Christmas party, and has been rumored to be seeing Joshlynne Ramiez. Enough was enough, now the hard part was breaking it to her children.
She jumped startled by the door closing, it brought her back to reality, she turned to see who it was then smiled weakly as Travis and Gloria hurried into the living room. She feared how her children were going to take the news of her marriage officially being over.
"Mom, Is everything alright?" Gloria asked alarmed, laying her coat on the couch. Gloria feared something took place judging by the sadness in Melanie's voice when she called her to come to the house.
Travis crossed his arms sensing that his mother was very upset, "Mom what's wrong are you still bothered by what happened at the party?"
Melanie walked over to her favorite chair and sat down, "I'm over that now." she whispered, wanting to move past that and get on to the news that could devastate her children.
"I spoke with your father yesterday."
"How'd that go?" Gloria inquired anticipating an answer that she probably didn't want to hear.
Melanie remain quiet for a moment, she was trying to find a way to tell her children that the life they've known all of their lives was over. She was afraid of how they would react.
"Mother?" Travis asked looking at sister realizing what his mother was going to tell them.
Melanie took closed her eyes and took a deep breath, she opened her eyes and slowly said, "Demetrius and I are getting a divorce."
Scene 3- The Morrowian Bistro
Paige stormed into the bistro like angry bull, she learned earlier today that her soon to be ex mother in law, Leona tried to get her fired from her job which crossed the line in her book. Paige loved her job, it was one of the last things she had to keep her stable. Paige knew she was wrong by being one of the factors that put Anthony in the position he was in but that gave Leona no business to barge in her life. She looked around for Leona like a raging bull because she was going to give her a piece of her mind and possibly another smack in the face! She saw the door to the office close and hurried to the back hoping to find Leona in there.
Leona walked into her office and sat down taking a breather, she was still exhausted from the late nights of trying to figure out a way to keep her son out of jail. She growled thinking about Paige the woman who caused all of the troubles that her son was now facing. How could one person cause so much confusion and pain, that was question she continued to ask herself day by day as she desperately tried to save her son and try to find a way to make Paige suffer from all pain she had caused.
"How dare you!" Paige shouted slamming the door close to Leona's office, she knew she would find Leona here.
Leona quickly stood up the last time she sat down during an argument with Paige she attacked her so this time she was going to be ready...for anything.
"What are you ranting about now?"
Paige approached Leona, "You tried to get Tiffany to fire me, what the hell is wrong with you?"
"You're what's wrong with me Paige! You've ruined my son's...."
Paige threw her hands up becoming frustrated as she interrupted Leona, "Are you going to sing this sad little bobble head song about how I ruined Anthony's life."
"Leona there's something you need to understand! I did not put a gun in Anthony's hand and shoot Maurice!"
Leona gasped unable to believe what just came out of Paige's mouth. She wondered to herself did Paige realize if she hadn't slept with Maurice, then he would be alive and Anthony wouldn't be facing jail time, she screamed unable to contain her rage. "You're right you didn't put the gun in Anthony hands but that doesn't make you guilty." Leona yelled.
"Paige, you caused all of this! Because of you, a man is dead and my son is going to jail! That makes you the whore and a murderer! Now get out of my office."
"No Leona! Not until we have some things straight!"
Scene 4- The Morrow House
Eva stood by the door waiting for Lisa to arrive, she prayed to God that Lisa would heed her warning and possibly get out of town because Marsha was coming after her. Eva caressed her neck, reliving the moment when Marsha strangling her in her office, signs that Marsha was becoming a loose cannon. She found her trembling in fear, Eva had mixed emotion about this meeting with Lisa, she hated her just as much Marsha because she had the one thing that she wanted...Travis. Not to mention she was one who snuck Marsha in the church in order to hold Lisa and Travis at gun point during their wedding.
The ringing of the doorbell interrupted Eva's thoughts, she quickly hurried to the and opened it to see a disgusted Lisa standing at the door. "Eva, what is this about?" she asked rudely as she walked in. Lisa never forgave Eva for taking part in one of the horrific moments in her life. She knew this visit wasn't going to be a good one.
Eva closed the door then lead Lisa into the living room, "I have something to tell you Lisa and you're not going to like it."
"Eva, I don't like half the things that come out of your mouth, so that doesn't make a difference. What are you talking about?"
"It's about Marsha."
Lisa placed her hands on hips becoming frightened, her bad feeling about Marsha slowly came back, "Just spit it out please!"
"She's in San Diego, Lisa and she's coming for you and the baby."
Scene 5- The Sterling Mansion
Marsha closed the door shut to the maid's room she didn't want to hear anymore about Melanie and Demetrius divorce. That part of her plan was over, now while the family was distracted she was going go into the next phase...turn Jackie against Travis and Lisa. She growl remembering Eva's betrayal she snatched the dresser drawer open and pulled out her black notebook and added Eva's name to her list.
"I'm tired of the people in San Diego. They haven't change a bit" she exclaimed, throwing the notebook back in the dresser.
Marsha paced around in a full 360 Degree circle, "All of them must be dealt with, Lisa...Joshlynne...and Eva."
"Eva honey, you really fucked up. You of all people know what I'm capable of."
Marsha laughed, forming a plan in her head, "It's time for some people take a little trip and I know the perfect place."
"Hell!" she exclaimed pulling her gun out of her apron.
Scene 6- The Platinum Haven
The waitress placed Bradley's food down on table, he smiled taking his spoon and doodling in his bacon, cheddar mashed potatoes. He looked at his brother who remained silent after he gave him permission to ask him anything he wanted to know about the transactions of Veritas Inc.
"What's wrong Jeffery?"
Jeffery looked up at his little brother and crossed his arms with a smirk, "Bradley how long had the company been going under?"
Bradley placed his spoon on the side of his plate, this question needed his undivided attention, "Since you left! Jonathan hatred for you and Demetrius has driven him to do some crazy things when it comes to the company."
"Why didn't you come to me?" Jeffery asked disappointed in what he was hearing.
Brad blankly stared at his brother, "Our family was already dysfunctional enough...I wanted the company to fail. Maybe we could all get back together and be brothers again."
Jeffery thought about what Bradley was saying and realized how much these disagreement between Jonathan was affecting everyone else, "Brad, I love you and believe it or not I love Johnny Boy too, but I don't want to see mother's company go under."
Brad sighed, "Jeffery, your right! I don't know how in the hell we're going to get through to Jonathan though."
Jeffery slide his chair closer to the table, "Who's running the company while's Jonathan's out of town?"
"I am." Brad answered.
Jeffery sat back in his chair and grinned evilly, finally finding a chance to get back into the company, "Little brother, I'll take care of everything."
Scene 7- The Sterling Mansion

"Travis this isn't fair. I always thought they would be together forever." Gloria sobbed.
Travis frowned, as he remembered Demetrius' leaving with Joshlynne at the police station, he realized that's who his father had moved on too.
Gloria pulled away from Travis and walked over to the couch, "I can't believe daddy, and he moved on to Sidora so quickly."
Travis shook his head, "It's not Sidora."
"Well then who is it?" Gloria asked, judging by her brother's face he must've saw something that bothered him down at the police station. Gloria gasped realizing who Demetrius' new leading lady was.
"Joshlynne?" Gloria whispered as Melanie walked back into the room. She joined her daughter on the couch and hugged Gloria tightly consoling her.
"How are you feeling, mother?" Travis asked changing the subject, he didn't want his mother to know anything about Demetrius and Joshlynne seeing each other, he feared it would probably kill her or worse cause her to kill someone.
"Travis, I've moved on from that now." Melanie lied.
"You the both of you should too." she advised her children.
Scene 8- The Morrow House
Lisa's hand began trembling in fear as the possibilities of her worst nightmares coming true set in, "Eva, please tell me you're lying." she begged as tears fell down her face.
Eva shook her head just as scared as Lisa was, "I wish, Lisa but it's true!"
"This doesn't make sense! Eva, how do you know?"
"Look, she..." Eva stopped her sentence, she couldn't tell Lisa that Marsha was the one who gave her the pictures of Demetrius and Felicia Hensley in bed together...she wasn't even suppose to tell Travis and look where that got her.
"I can't tell you how...but I can guarantee you she's here!"
Lisa rubbed her belly trying to comfort her restless baby, "I want to believe you but Eva, you've lied to me so many times! So why would I trust you now?!"
"Listen, Lisa you can stand around here and question what I'm telling you or you can get the hell out of here! Marsha is coming for you and she's not playing this time!"
Lisa remained quiet trying to soak in everything Eva just told her. Marsha's kept her word on her threatening letter and has returned.
"Where is she now?" Lisa asked.
Eva shrugged, "I don't know!"
"Eva, I can't...." Lisa stopped, fearing that Marsha may be in the house. She grabbed her purse and quickly left. "I have to get out of here!"
Scene 9- The Morrowian Bistro
"I am calling the police!" Leona exclaim in fear as she reached for the phone and began to dial 911.
Paige rushed over to Leona and grabbed the phone from her as it immediately turned into a scuffle for the phone. Paige grabbed the cord and yanked the jack out of the wall.
"Leona, I am not playing with you! You'd better leave me alone!" Paige warned backing Leona into a corner.
"I won't stop until you are far away from here or better...DEAD!" Leona screamed back pushing past Paige.
"What??? Now you're threatening my life? Leona you have some serious problems!"
"No, Paige you are my problem and I promise you I am going to make you pay! Do you hear me you are going to PAY!"
Paul barged in to what was the fuss was about, he sighed in frustration seeing that those two were at it again, "What is going on this time?"
"Well your wife has threatened my life?" Paige quickly informed Paul pointing at Leona, "I should press charges or better yet, get a restraining order!"
"Nothing can keep me from getting to you!" Leona whispered coldly.
Paul looked at Paige then at Leona, he didn't want this to get any worse, "Paige I think you better leave."
"You'll be hearing from my lawyers, Leona!" Paige warned before she stormed out.
Paul crossed his arms disappointed in his wife's action. "That wasn't called for."
"She needs to get what's coming to her, Paul!"
"Leona if you keep this up, you're going to mess up our defense for Anthony's case!"
Scene 10- The Sterling Mansion
"Travis? Travis?" Lisa desperately called out as she hurried into the living room. She stopped dead in her tracks finding Bonita in the living room staring at her.
"Lisa, is everything alright?" Bonita politely asked while she dusted the kitchen table, she wanted to laugh noticing how nervous Lisa was, it pleasured her to see her in so much turmoil.
"Where's my husband?" Lisa rudely asked.
"I haven't seen him." Bonita answered, she laid down the duster and grinned.
Lisa took a few steps back growing terrified of Bonita's grin, "Why are you smiling at me like?"
"No reason at all, I can't smile now Lisa?" Bonita question crossing her arms.
"Most people smile for a reason." Lisa replied, freaked out by everything that was happening.
"You know what, Bonita I don't have time for this. I'm getting out of here!' Lisa stated deciding to go visit some friends, being at the house alone with Bonita was much to scary for her.
Bonita continue to show off her smile as Lisa left, then it slowly faded becoming paranoid that Lisa may know her true identity, "Did Eva tell Lisa that I was back?"
"I think it's time to take all of them out now!" Bonita pulled out a small vile of a clear liquid.
