Episode 31 - "CSI: San Diego" (Printable Version)

Scene 1- The Sterling Building

It was a great morning to start a new job at Sterling Clothing Inc, Sidora Duncan walked into her new office carrying a medium size white box that was used to carrying belongings when anyone move in or out of an office. She sat the box on her desk and smiled, checking out her new office. She gasped noticing the bouquet of flowers on the table by the window, she trotted over to them, smelled them, then opened the card to see who sent them to her.

"To a brand new start...Thanks for everything, Demetrius." Sidora read to herself, in awe she placed a hand on her chest and soaked in the ambience of a new start.

"Well, I guess I'm the last to welcome you to San Diego."

Sidora eyes widen as fear tapped her on the shoulders, hearing her nephew's voice scared her. Sidora's identity was supposed to remain a secret in this town until Demetrius' plans were carried out.

"Alex, c-c-close the door." Sidora timidly whispered. "What are you doing here? How did you know I was here?"

"Aunt Sidora, that's all you have to say?" Alex asked angrily, shutting the door. "How long have you been in town and what are you doing with Demetrius, my father in law?"

"I can't answer that." Sidora replied as she faced her nephew, inside she wanted to grab him and hug him tightly but she couldn't or everything would be ruined.

"Why?" Alex shot back, he didn't want to get into an argument with his favorite auntie but he felt it coming. He knew she was up to something and he was going to find out what it was.

"Alex, it's complicated! You're just going to have to understand that."

"No! Sidora, your going to tell what's going on!"

Scene 2- The Platinum Haven

Joshlynne sat down on her bed, wrapping her hair in a ponytail. She yarned tired from the lack of sleep she's gotten in the past two days. She's spent most of her nights trying to figure out who would set her up for the murder of Carmella Funtez. She tried retracting her thoughts but nothing came to her...she wondered did Marsha have anything to do with it. If she did, Joshlynne was sure as hell going to make her pay.

Joshlynne looked up hearing someone knocking at her door, she got and went over to the door. She opened it enough just to peep her head out to see who was at the door.

"Well are you going to let us in?" Paige asked giggle along with Sharon.

Joshlynne smiled happy to see her friends, she push the door a little wider to let her friend in. She eyed Paige's picnic basket as she closed the door, "What's in there?"

Sharon asked pulling out a pair of latex gloves, "We are going to find out who set you."

Joshlynne laughed warmed by the efforts of her friends, "Now how in the world are we going to accomplish that?"

Paige laughed sitting the picnic basket on Joshlynne's bed and took out camera and flashed a picture of Joshlynne, "When Anthony and I we're dating he taught me how to dust for finger prints."

"We're going to look for finger prints around the room, take pictures of them and have to police analyze the ones that aren't yours." Sharon added handing Joshlynne a pair of gloves.

"I really can't believe you guys are doing this?" Joshlynne said through her tears, as she slipped on her gloves.

Paige grins then takes another picture of Joshlynne and Sharon, "Let's get to work."

Scene 3- The Morrowian Bistro

"Sorry guys, we're closed today." Paul reluctantly informed two customers who seemed disappointed, they had their hearts on eating at the bistro for lunch. He locked the entrance door then walked over to a booth in the back hoping to get somewhere in keeping his son out of jail. He joined Anthony's attorney, William Jones and Detective Jonas Wilson the guy who persuaded Anthony into turning himself in after the shooting.

"Got anything?" Paul asked, already knowing the answer to his own question.

William sighed, "Not even...the courts already know he's guilty. I'm trying to plan my case around that."

"Well by him turning himself in, that should take a little time off right?" Paul noted grabbing a folder.

"That all depends on the judge and jury." William replied.

"We cannot get Judge Mecklenburg or we're in trouble!" Jonas added reading through Paige's deposition. "And no one can know that I've been giving you all this info or this case is definitely shot to hell!"

"What about Mayor Johnson? I'm pretty sure he can help us in some kind of way?" Paul asked William hoping for some light in the dark tunnel.

"Well he does owe me a few favors. I could call him and see what I can do. I can't promise anything though."

Paul nodded his head understanding the circumstances, "We've just got to try." he replied becoming desperate to try anything to keep his son from going to jail.

"Guys, I can't let my son go to jail."

Scene 4- The Sterling Mansion

The door to Bonita's room slow opened, as Gloria and Lisa crept inside trying to find ties between Bonita and the psychotic Marsha Lockwell. Lisa felt a very bad vibe when Bonita came around, it was same feeling she got when Marsha kidnapped her years ago. Lisa and Gloria both it was time to find out who this Bonita character really was. They had to hurry before Bonita got back from grocery shopping or they'll plans would be screwed. Lisa slowly sat down on the bed tired from the walk up the stairs, Gloria looked at her sister in law and huffed.

"Lisa, sweetie we don't have time for that! Bonita will be back any minute now!"

"I know I'm coming, I think this baby is going to be coming pretty soon!" Lisa struggled to rise then walked over to one of drawers and began searching for any clues to tie Bonita to Marsha. Being in the room freaked Lisa out, that bad vibe she always got when Bonita came around was stronger than ever.

"Gloria, I hate being in this room...I have a bad feeling about this!" Lisa moaned.

Gloria nodded her head agreeing, "You're right we need to make this quick."

Lisa arms began to grow goose bumps remembering Marsha holding her hostage. She did not want to go back down that road again and would do anything to keep it from happening.

"What are we going to do if Bonita is Marsha?"

Gloria thought about Lisa's question for a minute, "I don't know!" she answered before closing the top drawer then opening the middle. She gasped stepping back from the awful sight that was in the drawer.

"Oh my god, Lisa come here!"

Lisa hurried over to Gloria then grew terrified seeing a picture of Marsha holding Jackie at the age of 3, a gun, and Marsha's hit list with Lisa's name on the top.

Scene 5- The Sterling Building

Demetrius sat at his office staring at a picture of himself and his soon to be ex wife Melanie, the two ended too abruptly and it was all his fault. He kicked himself plenty of time for ruining a good thing. Perhaps if he hadn't gotten involved with Felicia and entertained their silly affair, then maybe he wouldn't be facing a divorce. He picked up the picture, then threw it in the trash unable to look at the constant reminder of what has come of his life. Felicia peeped her head in the door, hoping to speak with Demetrius, it had been months since the two talk and she wanted to clear things up and hopefully pick up where things left off before their affair was exposed...at least...if there was anything left for them to pick up.

She entered into his office and laid a folder of designs on his desk and smiled, "You look like you could use a friend." she suggested hoping it could be her.

Demetrius looked up and smiled politely at the woman who he used to be in love with, hearing Felicia mention friend made him think of Joshlynne which put a little light in the dark day he was having. Joshlynne was there for Demetrius and knew she would be there for him when he need her the most.

Felicia's smiled brightened as Demetrius beamed, she knew he didn't forget about her, she walked around the desk trailing her finger behind and reach over to Demetrius to plant her lips on his lips. She reach in almost tasting his lips once again only to have him stop her in mid motion.

"Felicia, you think we're going to be together after all that has happened?"

Demetrius' action threw Felicia for loop as she back away from him embarrassed and confused, he told her he would always be there for her not matter what. Tears slowly began to fall from her eyes, "Demetrius, what about us?"

"We can't be. Felicia we ended once our affair was exposed. Look at what we've lost? What about your family? You children need you." Demetrius reminded her, he didn't want to hurt Felicia but it was the only way. He knew taking her away from her family would be the worst thing he could do. Felicia wiped her tears away, and nodded as things began to make sense. She thought about how much her daughter needed her and what it would do to her son if she just walked away from her kids.

"Felicia go back to your family, my life with Melanie is over, but I don't think it's too late for you and William."

"What I don't understand is how you could come to San Diego and not let me or Nathan know." Alex crossed his arms and approached his aunt, who hadn't spoken a word in over five minute since he began questioning her about her sudden appearance in town. "All I want to know is why?"

Sidora turned to her nephew then flew over to her desk and start rigorously searching through papers, she couldn't look her nephew in the eye and lie to him. She was apart of some mysterious plan Demetrius had which was going to reward her handsomely, all she had to do was keep quiet and be ready when the time was right.

"Alex, baby. Its some things you just won't understand right if I told you?" she answered softly.

The blank look on Alex's face proved that he didn't believe anything that was coming out of Sidora's mouth. He walked over to her desk and starred at his aunt, she never hid anything from him before until now. Sidora saw the hurt in Alex's eyes, she want to tell him but right now wasn't the best time and he was going to have to understand that.

"Alex, Sweetie I don't want you to take this personal, everything will make since in the end."

"I sure hope so." Alex whispered as Demetrius walked into the office with a bright grin.

"Sidora Duncan I hope you are enjoying....."Demetrius' smile faded feeling the tension between his son in law and Sidora, he wondered what was going on and how the two knew each other. "Am I interrupting something?"

Sidora nervously stood up then smiled, "Not at all Demetrius, just catching up with my nephew."

"Nephew?" Demetrius asked, he wondered in the back of his mind if Sidora told Alex what was going on.

"It's obvious our conversation is over, so I'll see my way out!" Alex muttered before storming out.

Sidora rushed behind Alex and closed the door locking it, "Demetrius, I am so sorry."

Demetrius glared at Sidora and crossed his arms, "Did you tell him anything?"

Sidora shook her head.

Demetrius' smile returned to his face, "Good! No one can know everything is in order."

Scene 6- The Platinum Haven

"Is this how you're supposed to use this?" Joshlynne asked wildly dusty powder on the counter top causing it to fly everywhere, "I don't think this is the right way!"

Sharon laughed, as her cell phone buzzed, she reached down and checked her phone. She frowned reading the text from Felicia that told her to meet her at the house. Sharon quickly snatched off her gloves and grabbed her purse, "You guys I really need to go." she alerted Paige and Joshlynne rushing out.

Paige shrugged at Sharon's departure off as she pulled off her gloves giving up when she didn't find anything finger prints on the dresser where the gun was found. She sat on the bed and wiped the sweat off her forehead then looked up at Joshlynne, "I don't know what else to do! I didn't find anything." she complained.

Joshlynne joined her friend on the bed and smiled still amazed how Paige and Sharon would come and help her amongst all the problems they we're going through. "It's ok...We tried." she whispered, she wasn't going to let anything kill her spirits. She was too busy thinking about man she was finally able to get in her life...Demetrius.

Paige noticed her the look on Joshlynne face and nudged her playfully, "Is there something you need to tell me?"

"What do you mean?" Joshlynne asked still wearing her bright smile on her face.

"Well, you're facing a murder charges, and you're still smiling. Is there a new man in your life?" Paige asked standing up. "Spill the beans!"

Joshlynne giggled thinking about Demetrius, she knew she couldn't keep anything from Paige, she crossed her legs and placed her hands on her knee, "Demetrius and I have gotten closer."

Paige gasped rushing over to her friend, she hugged her tightly, she knew how much Joshlynne loved Demetrius. "It's like a twist of fate isn't it? I'm so happy that you finally getting your man!"

Joshlynne laughed hiding the fact that she caused the downfall of Demetrius' marriage to Melanie in order to get closer to Demetrius and now it was finally happening. "Well...I'm so happy that we're getting closer. I hope things get better..." she grew silent remembering that she gave Marsha her gun in order to protect herself. Her eyes widen as she then realized that Marsha was the one who killed Carmella in order to pose as the Sterling's maid, which meant she set her up in order to get back at her.

"Marsha!"

Scene 7- The Sterling Mansion

Hurrying into the living room, Lisa covered her mouth, breathing heavily from frightened at the thought that Marsha had been posing at Bonita all of this time. Eva tried to warn her but she didn't listen, she looked at Gloria who too seemed very frightened. Gloria grabbed Marsha's list and the Jackie's baby picture and placed it in her pocket, she walked over to Lisa and hugged her trying to calm her down.

"She's here Gloria! Marsha's been here all of this time." Lisa exclaimed hysterically, "I have to get out of here! I have to warn Travis...Oh my god, she's going to come after the baby!"

Gloria shook her head, "No Lisa. You have to calm down!" she instructed trying to console her sister in law.

"How can I calm down, when I know the woman who's wanted me dead all of these years has come back to finish what she started. Eva tried to warn to me." she moaned holding her pregnant belly.

Gloria crossed her arms, as the door clothes startling them both, "You guys alright what's going on?" Alex asked noticing how jumpy they seemed. "Someone after you?"

"How can you joke about a situation like that?!" Lisa snapped becoming angered by Alex's remarks. This fear of Marsha was really beginning to take a toll on her. "I wish everyone would start taking things more seriously."

"Lisa?" Gloria called out to her sister in law, "Alex didn't mean anything by that!'

Alex shook his head today was too much for him, Sidora being short with him and now Lisa snapping at him for no reason at all. He threw his hands up, "You know what? I'm over today, I'm going to take a nap!" he informed his in laws, as he walked upstairs.

"Lisa that was out of line." Gloria whispered.

Lisa slowly sat down on the couch, running her finger through her hair, "I'm sorry but I'm scared and I don't know what else to do. Marsha is back and we've got to do something about it!"

Scene 8- The Spellman Place

Sharon dropped her keys on the couch as she hurried through the living room. She wondered why Felicia text her and wanted her to come home right away. The urgency of that message scared her as she searched for her sister in the kitchen. "Felicia?" she called out for her sister, "are you okay?"

"I'm up here!" Felicia shouted from upstairs, "Get up here quick!"

Sharon dropped her purse and ran up the stairs fearing something may have happened to her, "Oh god, Felicia I'm coming! I'm Com...." she stopped in the doorway shocked by the new makeover Felicia recently went under as she posed for her sister. Felicia twirled around so Sharon could get a good look at her in new navy blue dress and matching heels.

"I thought something was wrong? Wow! What brought this?" Sharon asked impressed by her sister's new attitude, which showed signs that Felicia must be getting better. "You look amazing by the way!"

Felicia laughed fluffing her hair up a bit, "Thanks sweetie...I hope William likes it." she answered fixing her make up in the mirror.

"Sharon, a good friend made me realize that I needed to fight for my family and that's what I plan to do!"

Sharon frowned thinking back to the conversation she had with William which ended in Sidora greeting William with a kiss. "uh, Felicia I think there is something you should know."

Felicia faced her sister, wonder what was on her mind, "What's wrong?"

"I went to see William the other day and I think he's found someone else."

"Who?" Felicia asked fearing everything may be over.

"Sidora."
